<h3>Why?</h3>
<ul>
<li>Wayne Robson (<a title="Wayne Robson is @waynerobson on Twitter. Follow him!" href="http://twitter.com/waynerobson" target="_blank">@waynerobson</a>) is known, worldwide, for his digital sculpting and was just named <a href="http://area.autodesk.com/3december/wayne">Autodesk&#8217;s first ever Master for Mudbox</a>. From his earliest, Pixologic ZBrush-related, works (tutorials for Kurv Studios and a <em>monster</em> book (literally and figuratively!) <a title="Buy Essential ZBrush by Wayne Robson on Amazon.com" href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1598220594?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=mvz-20&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;camp=1789&amp;creative=390957&amp;creativeASIN=1598220594" target="_blank">Essential ZBrush</a>) to his, current, Autodesk Mudbox offerings (<a href="http://mudboxhub.com" target="_blank">MudboxHub.com</a> + <a href="http://mudboxhub.com/s/workshop" target="_blank">Mudbox Workshop</a><a></a> and <a href="http://www.3d-palace.com/mudboxhub-masterclasses/" target="_blank">DVDs via 3d-palace.com</a>)&#8230; Wayne&#8217;s contributions to digital sculpting and the 3D community have been many. He&#8217;s trained artists at top companies—and, also, students and individuals. He travels around the world sharing his expertise—yet, works far from Hollywood, in England&#8217;s Derwent Valley, with his family close by. Such is his life.</li>
<li>I&#8217;ve been following the exploits of Mr. Robson for a little while now. In fact, I have watched every single one of his (104) &#8220;Waynecasts&#8221; (<a href="http://bit.ly/wc1-25" target="_blank">1-25</a>, <a href="http://bit.ly/wc26-50" target="_blank">26-50</a>, <a href="http://bit.ly/wc51-75" target="_blank">51-75</a>, <a href="http://bit.ly/wc76-100" target="_blank">76-100</a>, <a href="http://www.youtube.com/noggity#p/u" target="_blank">100+</a>). He is a character, for sure. I respect him for what he has accomplished in so little time. I admire him for other reasons.</li>
<li>I&#8217;ve been using <a title="More Autodesk Mudbox - autodesk.com" href="http://autodesk.com/mudbox" target="_blank">Autodesk Mudbox</a> for about a month, now (non-commercially). It is a great application. I&#8217;m very grateful that it is available for the Mac (and, in 64-bit!). I&#8217;m seriously considering a commercial license.</li>

<p>If you’re a product or automotive designer then the <a href="http://www.luxology.com/store/product_auto_design_presets/" target="_blank">Product and Automotive Design Presets Pack</a> is for you. The Product and Automotive Design Presets Pack also provides a streamlined workflow to showcase every curve, line and silhouette you put down. <p><a href="http://www.luxology.com/store/SLIK/" target="_blank">SLIK</a> reproduces a full photographic studio lighting system for modo artists, enabling rapid lighting workflow and realistic results. <h3>Why?</h3>
<ul>
<li>Yazan Malkosh (<a title="Yazan Malkosh is @malkosh on Twitter. Follow him!" href="http://twitter.com/malkosh" target="_blank">@malkosh</a>) is about as prominent as they get in the modo community. From the Null Institute presets and podcast, to his <a title="Assets - luxology.com" href="http://luxology.com/asset/" target="_blank">free assets</a>, to his <a title="Training - luxology.com" href="http://luxology.com/store/15_architectural_interiors/" target="_blank">training</a> and kits, to his <a title="Yazan's modo Road Trip Thread - luxology.com" href="http://bit.ly/bVTdEQ" target="_blank">modo Road Trip artwork</a>—he&#8217;s been spreading &#8220;modo goodness&#8221; for quite some time now! (Not to mention&#8230; he&#8217;s very down-to-earth and a gentleman.)</li>
<li>I&#8217;ve been exploring PAD and will be adding SLIK, soon. PAD is a <em>huge</em> timesaver and SLIK is just <em>niiiiiccccee</em>.</li>
<li><a title="More modo - luxology.com" href="http://luxology.com/modo/" target="_blank">modo</a> has been our main (3D) package, here. I&#8217;ve been a user since 201 (<a title="More on modo 501 - luxology.com" href="http://www.luxology.com/community/" target="_blank">501 is coming by the end of 2010</a>) and I like the workflow and direction that Luxology is taking it. They are good people and have done the licensing right.</li>
