Why?

Wayne Robson (@waynerobson) is known, worldwide, for his digital sculpting and was just named Autodesk’s first ever Master for Mudbox. From his earliest, Pixologic ZBrush-related, works (tutorials for Kurv Studios and a monster book (literally and figuratively!) Essential ZBrush) to his, current, Autodesk Mudbox offerings (MudboxHub.com + Mudbox Workshop and DVDs via 3d-palace.com)… Wayne’s contributions to digital sculpting and the 3D community have been many. He’s trained artists at top companies—and, also, students and individuals. He travels around the world sharing his expertise—yet, works far from Hollywood, in England’s Derwent Valley, with his family close by. Such is his life.
I’ve been following the exploits of Mr. Robson for a little while now. In fact, I have watched every single one of his (104) “Waynecasts” (1-25, 26-50, 51-75, 76-100, 100+). He is a character, for sure. I respect him for what he has accomplished in so little time. I admire him for other reasons.
I’ve been using Autodesk Mudbox for about a month, now (non-commercially). It is a great application. I’m very grateful that it is available for the Mac (and, in 64-bit!). I’m seriously considering a commercial license.
